Let’s get paid to adventure.
If you’ve ever sat at a desk until your eyes hurt, or worked with no windows and missed out on literally all the sunlight that day, or breathed fumes (either from co-workers or chemicals), you might have thought about finding a job that would bring you anywhere but where you are now.
Trucking has it’s good days and bad, like anything else, but every single day can be different. Every day is a new chance to see and learn, meet new people, have a new conversation or see behind the scenes of how society runs.
I am not here to convince you to become a truck driver, or that your current job sucks, or really convince you of anything.
I made this website because I, like many, found myself desperately needing an adventure, and one that actually pays well. In some cases, very well.
I want you to be able to decide if trucking is right for you but with much more information than I had when I started. I have been through a lot, been lied to by more than a few companies, and know plenty of other drivers who have had rougher roads than myself.
I’m here to share it all with you in hopes that you find a new adventure at least for the time you need it, and that you can start off in the right direction without as many bumps bruises and breakdowns as I have been through.
I can honestly say that with a few exceptions, driving a truck does’t feel like work to me. challenging, yes, exhausting, sure, but always with enough fun, beauty, and interesting experiences to keep me moving forward to the next leg of the journey.
I hope this website helps you. Even if it’s just entertaining, I wanted to write down some pointers all in one spot so I have a place to send people when they ask me, as many do through the week, “So, how do I start trucking?”
Cheers friends, be safe and I’ll catch up with you down the road.
